Royal Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris)

Males are truly massive, often weighing up to 260 kg and measuring over 3 meters in length. Females typically weigh between 140 kg and 160 kg and measure roughly 2.4 to 2.65 meters in length. The diet of the Bengal tigers is as diverse as their habitat, ranging from medium-sized ungulates like Sambar deer and Wild Boar to much larger prey like Water Buffalo. A hungry tiger can consume up to 40 kg of meat in a single sitting, and they are known to drag their heavy kills (sometimes weighing twice as much as themselves) into thick cover to protect them from scavengers.
