Ranthambore National Park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, India. It is one of India's most iconic wildlife sanctuaries. Spanning 1,334 square kilometers at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges, the park features a rugged terrain of deciduous forests and scenic lakes. Once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, it is now a government-protected Tiger Reserve and world-class destination for observing Royal Bengal Tigers in their natural habitat. These tigers are famously active during the day, offering incredible sightings alongside leopards, sloth bears, and over 300 bird species. Adding to its allure is the UNESCO-listed 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, which rises majestically above the forest, blending ancient history with raw wilderness.
