Royal Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) Yawning
These tigers are highly communicative through scent and sound. A tiger's roar is so powerful that it can be heard up to 3 kilometers away, serving as a warning to rivals or a call to potential mates. They also mark their territory using a combination of "scuffing" the ground with their hind legs and spraying a musky fluid on trees to establish boundaries that can span up to 100 square kilometers for a single male.
