Museum of the Future is housed in a torus-shaped building with windows in the form of a poem in Arabic about the future, written by Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Museum of the Future is 77 meters tall and occupies an overall area capacity of 30,548 square meters. The circular building represents humanity; the green mound it sits atop represents the earth; the void represents the unknown future. On the evening of February 22, 2022, the museum was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with a vibrant light show to mark the occasion.
