Morondava is a city located in Menabe Region in Madagascar. It is located in the delta of the Morondava River. Its population as of the 2018 census, was 53,510. The predominant tribe in Morondava is the Sakalava, but there are also a few Betsileo, Tsimihety, Merina, Makoa as well as Europeans.
