Malagasy Giant Hognose Snake, Kirindy Forest Reserve, Madagascar

This snake has a mildly toxic siliva that iritates human skin, but is not deadly. When threatened they will streach out the skin around their neck and hood up in an attempt to look larger and more intimidating.
