Spotted Owlet (Athene Brama) | Ranthambore National Park - Rajasthan, India (Part II) (IMG_3582.jpg)

Spotted Owlet (Athene Brama)

Unlike many owls, these birds are remarkably crepuscular, meaning they are active during dawn and dusk, and they are often seen perched openly in pairs. They are highly adaptable, thriving in both rural forests and bustling urban parks. By preying on beetles, locusts, and small rodents, they act as natural pest controllers.
