Winged Guardian Serpent, Tomb of Seti I, Valley of the Kings

Imydwat, fourth hour. Imydwat is an ancient Egyptian term meaning "that which is in the Netherworld", and a funerary book also known as "The Book of the Secret Chamber", which describes the sun god Ra's journey through the twelve divisions of the netherworld (the twelve hours of the night). The text is found in most royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
