Sa'ar Stream in Golan Heights

The Sa’ar Stream is located not far from the slopes of Mount Hermon and it starts near the village of Majdal Shams. It makes its way through limestone and, of course, basalt rocks which are so characteristic of the Golan Heights region. The Sa’ar Stream stretches along only a little over 10 kilometers but it is considered to be one of the most beautiful streams in the Golan region, and not only because of its impressive waterfall of the same name, which many come to visit in the winter to see its strong flow. Another famous waterfall in the Sa’ar Stream is Resisim waterfall, which rises to the height of 20 meters.
